Screen Acting Short Course (Melbourne)
The Talent Company of Australia is thrilled to announce our
Term 2 Screen Acting Short Course for 2024!
Are you interested in acting for Film, TV and commercials? Acting for the camera is vastly different to performing on stage, and being proficient in both stage and screen acting is vital for young actors wanting to excel in the entertainment industry.
This 6 week short-course will give students a strong grounding in the fundamentals of performing in front of the camera. This is a great opportunity to learn from some of Australia’s most experienced actors and casting agents!
What you will learn
Screen acting techniques
Set etiquette
Taking direction
Script analysis
Character development
Camera technique
All students will receive a professionally filmed copy of their scene work to use in a show reel or to show to friends and family.

Hawthorn Monday Evenings
Swinburne Senior Secondary College, Hawthorn
6 Weekly Classes from 15th April – 20th May
Intermediate (10-13 years): 5:15PM - 6:45 PM
Senior (14-18 years): 7:00PM - 9:00 PM
Brunswick Friday Evenings
Brunswick Studios, Cnr Allen and Cameron St. Coburg.
6 Weekly Classes from 19th April – 24th May
10-13 years: 5:15PM - 6:45 PM
14-18 years: 7:00PM - 9:00 PM
Pricing
10-13 years: $240 (incl. GST)
14-18 years: $300 (incl. GST)
Payable by VISA or Mastercard at the time of booking.
Once payment has been made there are no refunds, credits or make up sessions for missed classes due to illness, injury or any other reason.
Current TCA agency members receive 10% discount on Short Course fees.

REUBEN LIVERSIDGE
Head Talent Agent
Reuben began his career with Stage School Australia as a student before moving into teaching, and has now worked for the company for over 15 years. Reuben has been instrumental in the establishment of the Talent Company of Australia as a well-respected Melbourne agency.
Reuben studied Theatre and Cinema at the Victorian College of Arts and LaTrobe University. He has appeared on both stage and screen throughout his career as a performer. As a young actor, Reuben starred in 2 seasons of the classic Australian TV series Round the Twist as well as guest roles in Blue Heelers and Driven Crazy. Reuben has also featured in several TV commercials for big brands, including Toyota, Medibank and Dare Ice Coffee. Reuben was a founding member of international theatre company, Four Larks, and has performed in several of their works over the years, including a successful tour across the U.S. in 2014. Reuben is also a freelance reviewer for theatre and film, contributing many reviews for leading industry website ArtsHub.
Reuben brings a depth of knowledge and experience to his role as Head Talent Agent. He has a deep understanding of what it takes to start out in the industry as a young performer and prides himself on guiding new talent to achieve their dreams.
