Screen Acting Course
New in Melbourne in 2026
Our Screen Acting courses focus on developing and refining screen acting skills, exploring script analysis and mastering audition technique.
Master the difference between acting for stage and screen
This two-term course will build real confidence on camera, master the difference between acting for stage and screen, and provide young performers with the tools they need to approach scripts like professionals. Students work with fresh scenes from real TV shows and films and finish the course with acting footage to share with agents and casting directors (and your family and friends of course!).
Throughout the semester students will:
• Build genuine confidence on camera
• Master the difference between acting on stage versus acting on screen
• Get insider tips from professional actors
• Develop practical skills that translate directly to real-world auditions
Outcomes
• Showreel Screening: Invite family and friends to an in-house ‘premiere’ of your scene at the end of the semester.
• Industry-Ready Toolkit: Foundational screen acting skills, polished audition technique and self-tape know-how to give you the edge in professional castings.

The Talent Company of Australia is looking for passionate, creative young performers in Brisbane and Melbourne to offer professional representation in the entertainment industry.

The Talent Company of Australia has built a solid reputation and relationship with leading casting agents across Australia and internationally over the past 20 years. Successful auditionees will be offered exclusive representation with the TCA, where our goal is simple: to open real doors in the entertainment industry. We regularly receive exciting audition briefs from local and international casting agents working for major streaming platforms like Netflix, Paramount+, Disney and more!
Each screen test involves:
• A relaxed chat-to-camera (we want to get to know you!)
• A short monologue performance (not compulsory for actors who are still too young to read)
Our next In-person Screen Test Auditions will take place in 2026
Alternatively, you can also submit a self tape audition to be considered for representation.

REUBEN LIVERSIDGE
Head Talent Agent
Reuben began his career with Stage School Australia as a student before moving into teaching, and has now worked for the company for over 15 years. Reuben has been instrumental in the establishment of the Talent Company of Australia as a well-respected Melbourne agency.
Reuben studied Theatre and Cinema at the Victorian College of Arts and LaTrobe University. He has appeared on both stage and screen throughout his career as a performer. As a young actor, Reuben starred in 2 seasons of the classic Australian TV series Round the Twist as well as guest roles in Blue Heelers and Driven Crazy. Reuben has also featured in several TV commercials for big brands, including Toyota, Medibank and Dare Ice Coffee. Reuben was a founding member of international theatre company, Four Larks, and has performed in several of their works over the years, including a successful tour across the U.S. in 2014. Reuben is also a freelance reviewer for theatre and film, contributing many reviews for leading industry website ArtsHub.
Reuben brings a depth of knowledge and experience to his role as Head Talent Agent. He has a deep understanding of what it takes to start out in the industry as a young performer and prides himself on guiding new talent to achieve their dreams.
